Donate FAQs

Our online donation forms accept all major credit cards, PayPal, ApplePay, GooglePay, and eCheck (ACH transfer from your bank). Not all payment options are available for recurring donations. 

We also accept many other forms of payment including check, cash, stock, donor-advised funds, IRAs, and cryptocurrency. Please reach out to us at donate@accfb.org or call 510-635-3663 ext. 111 to discuss your preferred donation method.

If you would like to make edits yourself at any time, log in to your account at give.accfb.org/myaccount (Note: If you had an account before March 2026, you’ll need to reset your password) 

In your online account, you can: 
- Update your payment information 
- Change the amount or frequency you give 
- Pause or cancel your recurring gift 

If you have any questions or need help with your recurring gift, please reach out to us at 510-635-3663 ext. 111 or by text at 510-823-3411. You can also email us the changes you would like to make at donate@accfb.org but please do not send credit card information over email. 
All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Food Bank’s federal tax identification number is 94-2960297.

If you check this checkbox, you will be charged the total amount indicated next to the checkbox. 
If you give online with an email address, your donation receipt should be emailed to you immediately. If you need for this email to be resent, or if you would like a paper copy of your acknowledgement sent in the mail, please contact our Development Department at donate@accfb.org or (510) 635-3663 ext. 111.
When you make a donation online, there is an option to "Make your gift in honor of someone." Click on the orange text to expand this section. You can choose to send an email notifying someone of the gift or a tribute card in the mail. If you have already made your gift and wish to add a dedication, please contact our Donations department at donate@accfb.org or (510) 635-3663 ext. 111.
In order to see a history of your giving online, please create an account. Once you've logged in, visit your Payments tab. Here you can see all past transactions and download a summary of your gifts in a given calendar year. 

If you would like a summary of your donations by mail or other processors, or if anything in your summary seems wrong, please contact our Donations department at donate@accfb.org or (510) 635-3663 ext. 111.
Yes. For Canadian donations made online with a credit card, the amount entered in the online donation form will be in U.S. dollars.
