Piedmont Council - Scouting for Food 2025
Scouting for Food
Piedmont Council has a long history of community service. For 40 years, Scouts have collected non-perishable foods for the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB). This year, for our 41st year, the Council's efforts continue on Saturday, November 15th.
In 2024, Scouts collected over 5,500 pounds of food, and received nearly $11,000 in donations to the ACCFB. All together, that makes up for over 26,500 meals.
This year, your contributions are needed more than ever before. With cuts to SNAP (the CalFresh program) and the rising cost of living, ACCFB needs your help to continue assisting our neighbors throughout Alameda County.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need. A Scout is helpful!
