As many of you know, serving on the Board of ACCFB has been a longtime dream of mine. I grew up spending Thanksgiving serving food at a shelter in downtown Los Angeles. As someone who loves to cook, to eat, and to feed others, the very idea of not having food to put on my table is devastating.

I hope you'll join Sue and I at our first annual house party on February 2, where you'll have a chance to meet Regi Young, ACCFB's Executive Director, and learn more about the inspiring work the food bank is doing to end hunger in Alameda County.
