Give Alameda County children, adults, and seniors a hand

Hi everyone,

As you know, no one received their SNAP benefits for November 2025. Food banks are expected to be even more impacted, especially with the holidays coming up, and the possibility of December 2025 SNAP benefits being stopped as well.  Monetary donations through virtual food drives are so important right now because it helps the Alameda County food bank buy items that people need most—fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, milk, etc. Because of the bulk purchasing discounts that food banks receive, every dollar you donate could mean two meals for a household. Your dollar goes so much farther than what you’d spend at a grocery store, and we get to keep more mouths fed.
With that being said, I know it’s hard for many people right now, and a monetary donation may not be feasible. A share of this link is still so helpful and very much appreciated as well.

Thank you and Happy Holidays.
